With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Schunk of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Brantford, Ontario, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Schunk; her close friend Harold Rowe; her daughter Susan Heinbuck; her brother Rick Garlant; and her brother-in-law Eric Rainey.
She is survived by: her sister Cheryl Rainey of Bracebridge; her children, Glen, Jim (Yvonne) and Deb; her grandchildren, Kori (Josh), Bob (Joselyn), Natasia, Anthony, Jordon (Simon), Lauren (Chase), Erin, Andrew (Kori) and Katie (John); and her great grandchildren, Alex, Khloe, Brooklyn, Wilhem, Arthur, Sullivan, Bridgette and Abbigail.
