Beverley Raewyn (Wilson) Bassett Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beverley Raewyn Bassett, who passed on 30 November 2025. Born in New Zealand and later making her home in Halifax, Raewyn will be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
Raewyn's presence will continue in quieter ways—in moments of reflection, in the written word she cherished, and in the natural world she loved. Her life was shaped by thought, creativity, and solitude. May she now rest in peace, and may her journey forward be one of calm and serenity.
She is survived by her children, Michelle, Stephen, Teresa, and Caroline. Though geography kept them apart for much of her later life, the bond of love remained, held across distance and time. She is also remembered by her friends in Halifax, where she lived, read, wrote, and formed many meaningful connections.
