He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Langley and Ellis Langley. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Susan Vanier (David), Brett Langley (Heather) and David Langley (Jenna Hubbert); his grandchildren, Louis Vanier, Lily Langley and Lucy Langley; and his siblings, Leckie Langley and Larry Langley (Joan).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hillside United Church (12 Flamingo Dr, Halifax, NS B3M1S5).
