He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedee and Stella; his wife Verle; and his siblings, Evelyn and Raymond.

He is survived by: his children, Bruce (Sally Fuller Marchand), Robert (Alison Gillan) and Jennifer; his grandsons, Matthew (Shannon), Adam (Jessica), Maxwell and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Layla; and his siblings, Elizabeth (Betty), Diane, Jean, Roy, Ronald, Douglas and Gary. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the QE II Health Sciences Foundation.
