She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Dunsworth and Margaret Dunsworth (McSweeney); her former husbands, Robert A. O'Neil and Michael G. Johnson; her siblings, Peter Dunsworth (Ann), Michael Dunsworth, James Dunsworth (Jill) and Sherry Dunsworth Meyer (Jamie); her husband Ken B. Chapman; her sons, Peter Fraser (Monique), Christopher O'Neil and Michael O'Neil (Allegra); her grandchildren, Persephone O'Neil and Charlie O'Neil; and her sisters-in-law, Nora Johnson Meagher of Scotland, Eleanor Chapman Wilson of Scotland and Frances Chapman Smith of Scotland. She was also cherished by six step children.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P1K6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society on Catherine's behalf.
