Charlye Ann McNeil Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlye Ann McNeil (Halifax, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrey Hewlett and George Grant Sr.; and her siblings, Rosemarie Grant-Barnes (Linda Sutherland), Lyle, Darryl Oliver and Shawn Oliver.

She is survived by: her husband James McNeil; her children, Dorriean Sullivan (Chad) and Darcey; her granddaughter Fatuma; and her siblings, Paula Grant-Smith (Ricky), Marlene Williams (Lionel), Lois Oliver, George Jr. (Winnie), Warren (Monica), Dean (Debbie), Vernon Oliver (Cola), Steven Oliver and Kevin Oliver (Darcell). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
