With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Walker (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 11, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Wadden and Effie Wadden (Matheson); her siblings, Stanley Wadden and Kaye Beanlands; and her great-nephew Cameron Hope.

She is survived by: her husband Russell; her children, Jason (Michelle) and Laurel; her grandson Luke; her siblings-in-law, Dorita Wadden and Leslie Beanlands; her cousin Eileen Wadden; her parents-in-law, Sylvia Collier (Jimmy), Gordon Walker (Aubea), Allen Walker (Zora), Sheila Munns (Don) and Marilyn Walker; her sibling's children, Shauna Wadden (Peter Hope), Dale Mosher (Glen), Susan Brown, Margaret-Ann Smith (Walter), Pam Collier, Darren Wadden (Lori Parker) and Brian Walker (Joy); and her close friends, Doreen Bower (Tony) and Jacklynn MacKenzie (Don). She is also survived by children and many nieces, nephews.
