She was predeceased by: her parents, Seymour Rodgers and Ruth Rodgers (Dockrill); her husband David Vernon Purcell; her parents-in-law, Arthur and Christine Purcell; her siblings, Seymour Jr. and Janet; her brother-in-law Karl Robinson; her sister Corrine; and her brother-in-law Guy Joudry.
She is survived by: her children, Vernon (Heather) and Alayne (Paul); her grandchildren, Ashley (Stuart), Kyle (Erin), Jordan, Katie (Jarrett) and Alan; her great grandchildren, Gabriella, Oakley, Eleanor and Jack; her brother Fred (Denise); and her sister-in-law Dorothy.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Anglican Church (322 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3R1V4).
