She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachel Benoit and Donat Pratte; her stepfather Hector Frechette; her husband Norman; her son James; and her siblings, Berthe, Marthe, Lucille, Rejean, Yvon, Nil and Roche.

She is survived by: her children, Jo-An (Bob Miklos) and Darren (Cathe); her grandchildren, Matthew (Diana), Sarah, Ashley and Eric (Rebecca); and her sister-in-law Aurelie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19 restrictions, dedication of ashes will be attended to by immediate family only.

Donations in Colette's memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Alzheimer's Society or a charity of one's choice.
