He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ford and Noreen Ford (Lyons); and his sister Linda Flynn. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Candace Muir (Josh) and Christopher Spears; his stepdaughter Tanya; his grandchildren, Lydell, Lylah-Lea, Hunter, Addyson, Jayevon, Jayeva, Torrance and Luka; his siblings, Wayne, Lorraine Munroe and Sharon Dominix (Winston Green); and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Williams and Michael Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home (6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax, NS B3L2B3).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association.
