He was predeceased by: his parent William Shornys; his wife Gladys Marie Shornys; and his sons, Daniel Shornys and William Shornys. He is survived by: his parent Kathleen Shornys (Merlin); and his children, Bruce Shornys (Lise) of Lower Sackville and Donna Shornys of Halifax. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
