It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrold Lewis Tanton of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 28, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gladys Tanton and Willard Tanton; his brother Roger Tanton (Eunice); and his wife Catherine Anne Tanton. He is survived by : his siblings, Joanne Arvay (Arnis) and Peter Tanton (Debbie); his daughter Deborah Anne Conlon (Peter); his granddaughter Kelly Anne Nimmo (Adam); his great grandchild Charlotte Anne Nimmo; his son Robert Tanton (Ann); and his granddaughter Michelle Tanton.

Donations in Darrold's memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or to any charity of choice.
