He is survived by: his siblings, Sybil Evong (Allan) and Thomas Pottie; his sister-in-law Norma Pottie; his brother Wayne Sampson of Halifax; and his caregivers, Hannah, Sierra and Labiba. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
