With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Michael Melanson of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 8, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Melanson and Agnes Melanson (LeBlanc); his brother Donald; his sister-in-law Shirley LeBlanc of Cornwall, ON; and his brothers, Roy and Lloyd.

He is survived by: his son Max; his siblings, Bernard (Dorothy) of Markham, ON, Shirley Bellefontaine (Donald), Doris Doucette (Morris) and Eileen Melanson; his sisters-in-law, Lucille and Marilyn; and also Jake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
