He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carroll and Etta Carroll (Arsenault); his wife Jean (Degruchy); and his brother John. He is survived by: his sons, David A. (Genea) and Jonathan Ryan (Janice); his grandchildren, Kathleen, Sean, Jessica and Joshua; and his siblings, Steve (Carmen) and Patricia Bloise (Allan). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
