He is survived by: his mother Beatrice Hamlin; his wife Becky; his sons, Mark (Hannah) of Hammonds Plains and Matt of Hammonds Plains; his sister Michelle Grace; his nieces, Nicole and Renée; his sister Barbara Currie (Greg); his nephew Jeremy; his niece Sarah; his brothers, Bill Stillman (Wendy) and Robert Hamlin (Adina); and his nieces, Aliyah and Robyn.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dennis's memory to any local sports organizations of your choice.
