He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred and Velma; his wife Cathy; and his siblings, Ronnie, Clyde, Jerry, Eric, Brian, Barry, Carol and Karen.

He is survived by: his children, John (Amanda) and Holly; his grandsons, Cameron, Braidon and Keegan; and his siblings, Kevin, Barbara (Bert), Arlene, Jacqueline and Sheree (John). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
