He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Hynick and Dorothea Hynick (Burgoyne); and his brother Donovan. He is survived by: his wife Donalda; his children, Amy (Scott Allen) and Jeffrey (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alicia, Nicholas, Samantha and Jack; and his sister Roberta.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Agnes Church (6903 Mumford Rd, Halifax, NS B3L0A4).
