He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Clarke and Blanche Clarke; and his siblings, Gerald, Cyril, Frank, Wayne, Johnny, David, Helen Keddy, Marjorie Simmons and Marie Willard.

He is survived by: his children, Darin (Kim) and Diana Vardy (Jason); his grandchildren, Bryson Clarke-Vardy (Josee Zunic), Colten and Aiden; his great grandchild Milanka Vardy; his former wife Grace (Leon Fitzgerald); Bob (Lorna), Frances Crouse, Sharon Beaton and Nancy MacDonald (Alden). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
