He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward Appleby and Eldora Mae Appleby (Nauss); his son Richard; and his sister Edna Lauder. He is survived by: his wife Lillian May Garth; his children, Lynn, Nancy and Bill (Joanne); and his grandchildren, Craig, Meghan, Jennifer, Jesika, TJ and Alexander. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
