He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hopkins and Rene Hopkins; his wife Doris; and his siblings, Ralph (Ginny), Mitzi Scarfe and Renee Flemming (Claude).

He is survived by: his brother Peter (Pat); his daughters, Heather Boudreau (Al) and Marion-Anne Tobin (Ken); and his grandchildren, Suzanne Boudreau (David Fader), Andre Boudreau (Michelle), Sheri Tobin and Kevin Tobin (Tanya). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
