He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley McKay (Chapman) and Donald McKay; his siblings, Carol Ann and Richard McKay; and his grandparents, Walter, S. Evelyn McKay, Gladys and Ernest Porter.
He is survived by: his brother Dale; and his sibling's children, Christa (Dana), Jeff (Mireille), Craig, Timothy and Dylan Scott. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
