She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Donald MacRae and Gladys MacRae; and her sister Helen. She is survived by: her husband John Curry; her children, John Curry of Ottawa, Libby Smith (Craig) of Canmore and Fred Curry (Shannon) of Toronto; and her sisters, Libby Douglas of Halifax, Mary Pellerin (Gordon) of Halifax, River and Dr. Peggy Leighton of Halifax. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Snows Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
Donations in Donna's memory may be made to the Donald MacRae Basketball Scholarship at Dalhousie University, the Alzheimer Society, or a charity of choice.
