She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sharpe and Elizabeth Sharpe (Poirier); her husband Ken; her grandson Alexander; and her siblings, Beatty, Francis, Ray, Bernie, Clifford and Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Cooke (Michele) of Hubbards, Darrell Cooke (Leslie) of Halifax, Laurell Cooke (Eddie Abraham) of Westmount and Patti Cooke (Chris Warner) of Halifax; her grandchildren, Jessica (Mike Gerrow), Jeremy, Charity, Andrew, Liam, Patrick and Charlotte; her brothers, Gerry and David; her niece Laura Lee Sharpe; Jack, Clifford, Frank, Faye, June and Joan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 234 Transom Dr, Halifax, NS B3M0J8. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at 1452 Kings Rd, Sydney, NS B1S1E4.
