Doris Mae McKay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2020, at the age of 80, Doris Mae McKay (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel McNeil and Alice McNeil; and her brother Jimmy Eisenhauer. She is survived by: her husband Gordon McKay; her daughters, Beth Hawes (Billy), Donna Brown (Brian) and Cathy Stephenson; her pet Bob of Halifax; her grandsons, Robert Stephenson and William Hawes (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Sadie and Jordan Stephenson; and her siblings, Violet Harriman (Roger) and Herbie Pettigrew (Susan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19, visitation and services will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations in memory of Doris may be made to a charity of choice.
