She was predeceased by: her parents, David McGlashan Clunie and May Clunie (Rushton); her husband Bruce Lawson of Bolton; her son David; and her siblings, Ron and Joan.

She is survived by: her daughter Valerie; her daughter-in-law Judy Taylor (Philip Evans); and her grandson Taylor Lawson of Halifax. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
