It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Dorrington (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Long and Dorothy Long (Burns); her sister Lorraine Murphy (Joe); her brother-in-law Connecticut; her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Barbara Hickey; her brother Bill of Halifax; her siblings-in-law, Hilda Long (Frank) and Danny MacIsaac; and her sister Rita Mary.
She is survived by: her husband James W. (Jim); her son Andy (Joan); her siblings, Frank Long, Rita Pottie (Frank) and Bette MacIsaac of Wilmot, NS.; and her granddaughter Samantha Solgere. She is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews.
