She was predeceased by : her parents, James S. Lawrie and Florence M. Lawrie Zwicker (DeMont); and her husband Roy. She is survived by : her children, Marilyn (Bruce Havill) and Gordon (Shirley); her grandchildren, Allison Havill (Kevin Frame) of Vernon, BC, Amy Havill Landymore (William) of Wenham, MA, Graham Brunt of Halifax and Laura Brunt of Halifax; and her great grandchildren, Griffin Landymore, Violet and Ellie Landymore.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the West End Baptist Church (1986 Preston St, Halifax, NS B3H3W2).
