He was predeceased by: his brothers, Beverly and Denny; his son Billy; and his former wife Margie Doucette. He is survived by: his children, Earl, Wayne and Beverley Royal (Stephen); his grandchildren, Amanda Ashley (Billy), Mark Bird (Ashley) and Joey; and his great grandchildren, Evelyn, Myles and Aubrey Bird.
