He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Benvie and Eva Watts; and his brothers, Lewis Benvie, Rubin James Watts and Arthur Benvie.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward (Wanda), Michael (Kimberlee) and Joseph (Tammy); his siblings, Fred Watts Sackville (Patricia), John Benvie (Peggy) of Guelph, Ted Koran, David Benvie, Sydney, Annetta Pelrine (Kevin), Marion Glawson (Syde) and Terrie Ledesma (Robert); his former spouses, Sharon Benvie (Stevens), Point and Donna Bashaw; and his foster brothers, Paul and Norman Canning of Ontario. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
