He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund O'Neil Chapman and Iris Grace Card; and his parent-in-law Ralph. He is survived by: his wife Judy Chapman (Murray); his daughters, Michelle Richardson (Chad) of Kinsec and Stephanie Fifield (Chris) of Moncton; his grandchildren, Alex Fifield of Moncton and Gavin Richardson of Kinsec; his sister-in-law Joyce Dixon of Dartmouth; and his nephew Shawn Dixon (Melanie) of Halifax.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy Association, or charity of one's choice.
