It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen Haldane (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. George McWilliam and Eileen Vanora McWilliam; her husband Dr. James H. Haldane; and her siblings, Dr. Maureen Roberts, Stewart and Harcourt McWilliam.

She is survived by: her children, Lesley (Michael Benskin), Lindsay (John Clark), Elizabeth (Carman McCormick) and David (Christine); her grandchildren, Adam (Elsa), Clare Benskin, James (Alexis), Siân, Ian Clark (Meryl), Simon (Morgan), Emily McCormick, Robert (Ellen) and Lyla Haldane; and her great grandchildren, Ida, Holly, Kaia Benskin, Sadie, Ben, Owen Peer and Freya Clark.

In lieu of flowers, we would be grateful if donations in memory of Vanora were made to either Meals on Wheels or the Presbyterian Church of St. David, Grafton Street, Halifax.
