She was predeceased by: her parents, Armand LeBlanc and Kathleen LeBlanc of Sydney, NS.; her husband Edmund; her children, Therese and Gerard Moriarty; and her siblings, Armand, Claude and Roland.

She is survived by: her children, Jim, Ellen Sims (Mike), Paul (Jennifer) and Dave Halifax (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Sarah, Laurenn, Selena, Janel, Liam, Jillian, Catherine, Ryan, Josh and Jake; and her siblings, Marguerite MacNeil, Paul and Celeste Scanlan. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
