We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Eleanor Mae Morrissey (Halifax, Nova Scotia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Hyland and Frances Hyland; her husband William (Bill); her siblings, Doug and Donna Beazley; and her son-in-law Peter Vincent.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie, David (Denise), Robert, Pam (Tom), Wendy (Tom) of Ontario, Susan (Keith) of Ontario and Dawn; her grandchildren, Erin (Daylan), Jarret, Amanda, Kate, Megan, Chasidi, Lauren and Gillian; her great grandchild Sam; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Hyland and David Beazley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor succumbed to complications due to COVID-19. The family would like to thank the staff of 7C Northwood Halifax Campus for their care and compassion, with special thanks to Shelley O'Toole for your kindness to "Ribsy's Mom" during her time at 7 Centre and keeping us connected with mom via phone calls and FaceTime during the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanor's memory to the Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia.
