She is survived by: her siblings, Mitso, Panagioti, Dina and Maria; her husband Vasilios Demestihas; her children, Bobby, Georgia and Maria; her brother Konstandino Georgakakos (Maria); her daughter Margarita Kontostergios (late Lambros); her grandchildren, Alexia (Stefano), Vasili and Eleni (Petros); her great grandchildren, Lambros, Fotis and Giorgos Panagiotis; her grandchildren, Billy (Natalie), Johnny (Deanne) and Helen; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Labi, Noah, Elena and Nicholas; her grandchildren, Stacey (Stavros), Maria (Panagiotis) and Konstantina (Kostas); her great grandchildren, Giannis, Spyros, Nikolas, Spyridonas and Illianna; her grandchildren, Natasha (Brad), Nick and Vickie (Billy); her great grandchildren, James, Lily, Demetri, Nathaniel, Louka, Jorja, Aris and Amelia; her granddaughter Joanne (Tom); and her great grandchild Maria.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ja Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. George's Greek Orthodox Church (1146 Purcells Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3N1R4).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. George's Greek Orthodox Community Extension Fund via e-transfer email protected or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
