She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kosta Karountzos and Panagiota Karountzos; her children, Maria Lytras (Stamatis), George Kapsalis (Aisha), Patricia Christakos (Leo) and Tula Papadopoulos (Yiannie); her grandchildren, George (Teena), Vaso, Gina (Yiannie), Eleni (Grant), Leo P., Elena (Thomas) and Katerina; her great grandchildren, Vasilios, Nova and Maia; her siblings, Beulah Tsitouras and Stratos Karountzos; her husband Leonidas "Louis" George Kapsalis; her brother Dimitri Karountzos; and her grandson Savvas Papadopoulos. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint George's Greek Orthodox Church.
