She was predeceased by: her parents, Josey Poirier and Bertina Poirier (Muise); her husband Cyril; and her siblings, Wilfred, Mary, Annie May and Stella.
She is survived by: her children, Robert and Cindy (Brian MacLaren); her sister Marie Bertha; her sisters-in-law, Mary and Margaret; her close friends, Joan and Tom McDonell; and her granddaughters, Amanda McDonell, Erica McCurdy and Ellen Conte. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of NS or to the Kidney Foundation.
