Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eric Thomas Calnen (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away at the age of 72, on December 30, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Calnen and Russell Wile. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Shauna David (Ghislain) and Sara Rudolph (Steven); his grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Matthew; his sister Brenda Bennett (Ken); his mother-in-law Elsie; his siblings-in-law, Pam and Bruce; and his nephews, Kenny Jr., Jeff and Mark.
In lieu of flowers, the one thing that would mean the most to Eric would be to encourage and support young baseball players to get on the field and play hard. Memorial donations can be made in Eric's name to Halifax Minor Baseball – KidSportCanada.ca/Nova-Scotia/Halifax-Regional-Municipality/donate which helps cover financial costs for youth in need to participate in the sport they love.
