She was predeceased by : her parents, John Jones and Margaret Jones. She is survived by : her close friend George; her sons, William Jones and Robert Balser (Bobby Jo); her grandchildren, Asia and Roman Jones; her brothers, Billy Jones (Andrea), Steven Jones, Roger Shank (Felecia) and Terry Purchase; her stepbrother John Cordeau; her sisters, Tammy Shank, Tannis Purchase and Elizabeth Ramsey-Merrigan (Bill); and her birth mother Gladys Jones (Don). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian cancer Society or the Nova Scotia Mental Health Association or any addiction related charity.
