He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Cooper (Kelly) and Halifax of Ireland's Eye, N. L.; his wife Velva; his siblings, Lindsay, Oliver and Marion Barber; and his siblings-in-law, Muriel, Madeline and George Barber.
He is survived by: his children, Steven (Johanna) and Debra (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID health protocols, there will be no visitation and no service at this time.
