She was predeceased by: her parents, Olive Jobe (Lewis) and William "Earl" Jobe; and her brothers, Raymond Jobe (Eleanor) and Robert Jobe (Louise). She is survived by: her husband Jeremiah "Jerry"; her children, Susan Pirie (Mark Stein), Tim Spargo (Amanda), Nancy Smith (Ron) and Karen Belyea (Kevin); her grandchildren, Alexa, Liam Pirie, Lauren Spargo, Cameron, Nathan Smith, Holland, Hayley and Julia Belyea; her sister Betty Butler (Terry); and her sisters-in-law, Lois Spargo and Judy Jobe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. James Anglican Church (2668 Joseph Howe Dr, Halifax, NS B3L4E4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
