Fielding Barry Munroe Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fielding Barry Munroe (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 21, 2018, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
At 6'4" Barry was tall in stature but nothing compared to the size of his heart, all the love he gave will be sorely missed by his daughters; Judylee Moore, Amy (Roy) Munroe, sons; Jamie Munroe Stevens, Daniel (Becca) Miller; Grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Emmajean Miller whom were his pride and joy, they called him Grampy but at times affectionately called him Grumpy. Sisters, Judy (Ron) McNair, Ruth Aldrich, Leola (Donnie) Behie, Elizabeth (Eugene) Crosby, Alberta Murray, Francine Munroe; brothers, Graham (Eunice) Munroe, Lyndel Munroe. Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as great great nieces and nephews; Godson, Jeremy Dickie. Barry was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Dorothy (Boutlier) Munroe; brothers Glenard, Harry, and Lockie. Special thanks to Barry's niece April McNair for stepping in and lending a helping hand during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, where a family visitation will be held Saturday April 28 from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 29 at 11am for all from the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at a later date for family only. Donations can made to the Parker Street Food Bank in memory of Barry.
