She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Lohnes and Margaret Lohnes (Stoddard); her husband Donald; and her siblings, Marjory, Shirley, Jean, Harold, Warren and Carl.
She is survived by: her daughter Joan Irving (Gary); her sisters, Betty Meisner, Midville Branch, Margie Wentzell (Ross) and Gerri Croft (Carrol); her grandchildren, Jason (Olivia), Melissa (Ali) and Head of St. Margaret's Bay; and also, David Fisher (Tammy), Braxton, Lincoln and Roman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's memory may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
