She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Saunders and Lorraine Saunders; her son Stephen; her parents-in-law, Glenwood "Shorty" and Grace Rhodenizer; her brother Harris Johnson; her nephew Scott Saunders; and her niece Loretta Saunders.

She is survived by: her husband Terry; her daughter-in-law Lucille; her granddaughter Angela Zinck (Cory); her great grandchildren, Owen of First South and Nathan Zinck of First South; her siblings, Russell Saunders (Donna), Roger Saunders (Sheila), Yvonne Clark (Wayne), Collette Saunders (Ian Colford) and Marsha Saunders; her nephews, Raymond Saunders and Jason Clark; and her niece Tonya-Ann Clark.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke foundations or a charity of your choice.
