Frances Mackinnon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Mackinnon (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 18, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Kenneth Frederick. She is survived by: her parent Catherine Anne Phillips (Kennedy); her husband Donald H. MacKinnon; her children, Lara Balding (Bryan) of Minneapolis, MN, Ross (Stelly), San, Sean (Christina) and Dartmouth; her siblings, Marie Matras of Edmonton, AB, Priscilla Calvesbert of Bedford, Ken of Sydney, Andy of Ottawa, ON and Alex of Marion Bridge; and her grandchildren, Gavin, Nathan, Kiera, Oscar, Cassidy and Callie. She is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Halifax Highland Dance Association, 23 St. George Blvd, Hammonds Plains, NS.
