Fred Thompson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2018 we had to say goodbye to Fred Thompson (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Hiram G. Thompson; his wife Evelyn (Cloney); his grandson Michael Lawless; his siblings, Mary Woodbury, Ralph, Raleigh and Roland Thompson; and his half-brothers, Joseph and Jack Mooring.

He is survived by: his parent Josie M. Thompson (Mooring); his children, Mary Anne Lawless (Stan) of Courtney, BC, Linda Anderson (Mel), Darbe Heighton (Henry), Stellarton, Fred (Jean), Valley, Larry (Carol) and Springhill Junction; and his sister Jean Stonehouse of Hamilton, ON. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory may be made to the Birch Grove Cemetery Fund or a charity of one choice.
