She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Winthrope Shields and Anita Shields (Randall); her children, John (Michelle) and Jennifer; her grandchildren, April Hemeon, Christopher Soares, Benjamin, Jeremy Garus, Thomas Garus and Robert Adams; her sisters, Lois Pretty (Gary Hewins) and Eunice MacIntryre (Donald); her siblings' children, Alexandria Pretty (Patrick), Robert Pretty (Susan), Jason Pretty (Jana), Donald MacIntryre (Edith) and Ian MacIntyre (Kelly); her aunt Bertha Randall; and her husband Murray Hemeon.
Due to pandemic restrictions, the number of attendees must be limited.
Donations in Freda's memory could be made to Feed Nova Scotia or flowers for Easter Sunday at St. John's Anglican Church, in Hammonds Plains.
