He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Jerome (Romie) and Grace Gallagher; his wife Elizabeth MacDonald (Betty); his children, Kathy (Doug Polak), Carolyn (Todd Barter) and David (Jody Rice); his grandchildren, Laura, Sarah Polak, Jake, Luke, Allie Barter, Bridgid and Rowan Gallagher; and his brother Terry Gallagher (Peggy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Vincent de Paul or Alzheimer's Society.
