She was predeceased by: her father Edward Freeman; her son Michael F Grant; her grandparents, Percy and Grace Gaetz; her uncle Roy A. Gaetz; and her aunts, Evelyn Snetsinger and Eileen Gayner.
She is survived by: her mother Marjorie Freeman; her children, Dana E. Grant (Kevin) and Jacqueline A. Grant; her granddaughter Hannah E Desrochers (Derick); and her cousins, Marsha McCulloch, Roy Jr. Gaetz, Paul Gaetz and Steven Gaetz.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to: Northwood Halifax Campus, IWK Health Centre, Immunology Department or Veterans for Healing.
