He was predeceased by: his son Terry Newcombe; his mother Muriel Acker (Slauenwhite); his stepfather Malcolm Acker; and his father Gerald Newcombe. He is survived by: his wife Diane Newcombe of Middle Sackville, NS; his daughter Tina Melanson of Tantallon, NS; his stepchildren, Lesa McPhee (Clinton) and Michael Miller (Lorrie Meehan) of Middle Sackville, NS; and his granddaughters, Brianna McPhee and Haley Melanson of Tantallon, NS..

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, there will not be a public viewing.

In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia in Garry's honour.
